Springs:
Trans-Tech is the specialist in manufacturing springs as we are equipped with the state-of-art workshop to fabricate with the highest industrial standards. Springs can be fabricated in both Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel as per requirements.

A compression spring is an open-coil helical spring that offers resistance to a compressive force applied axially. They are usually coiled at a constant diameter, though they can be coiled in other needed forms such as conical, concave (barrel), convex (hourglass), or various combinations of these. Compression springs are used to resist force and/or store energy, depending upon the application.

Carbon Brushes:
In its state-of-art facility at Al Quoz, Trans Tech fabricates carbon brushes of high industrial standards. For instance, we manufacture carbon brush holders, carbon brushes for drilling machines and other heavy machinery equipments. We also fabricate using various grades of carbon as per customers' requirements. For more information, please contact us.

Carbon brushes are electrical contacts that carry current to or from moving surfaces such as motors and generators. Brushes require frequent replacement due to the combination of mechanical wear resulting from friction, and electrical wear from excessive resistance at the contact surface.

Mechanical Seals (Pump Seals):
Mechanical Seals of various John Crane and Burgmann types of nearly all sizes (inches and mm) are available. The carbon (rotatory and stationary) of a mechanical seal can also be made/repaired in Trans-Tech's dedicated workshop.

Mechanical seals are designed to prevent leakage between a rotating shaft and its housing under conditions of extreme pressure, shaft speed and temperature. Mechanical seals can be single acting or double acting. Single (acting) mechanical seals have one sealing gap. The lubrication film required by the sliding seal faces is provided by the medium to be sealed. The lubrication film required by the seal faces in double (acting) mechanical seals is provided by a higher pressure buffer medium (sealant liquid) that is compatible with the pumped product. The sealant liquid is at a higher-pressure so that any leakage across the seal faces will be the sealant liquid into the pumped product.

Oil Seals:
Well known brands such as NOK,TTO,Pioneer Western, National oil seals are available of various sizes and specifications (single lip, double lip, metal clad).
 
Oil seals and grease seals have a flexible lip that rubs against a shaft or housing to prevent the leakage or ingress of fluids and dirt.

O-Rings & V-Rings:
Trans-Tech imports high quality NBR & Viton O-rings, V-Rings ( VA, VS, VL) of standard sizes. Special sizes are also manufactured/ordered in any material as per customer requirement. For more specific information, please contact us.

O-Rings are torus-shaped (i.e. doughnut-shaped) objects made from elastomeric compounds such as natural or synthetic rubber, and are used to seal mechanical parts against fluid movement (air or liquid). O-Rings perform their sealing action by deforming to take the shape of their cavity, after being oversized to guarantee an predetermined interference fit. O-Rings are inserted into cavities defined as glands, and are typically used in one of two seal designs, axial or radial. An O-Ring is specified by its inner diameter, its cross-section diameter, its material hardness/durometer (typically defined by the Shore A hardness), and its material composition. In order for an O-Ring to seal against the movement of fluid, it must be compressed when seated inside the gland. A standard set of design guidelines exist to determine the proper O-Ring dimensions for radial and axial seals of a given dimension.

Hydraulic & Pneumatic Seals:
Trans-Tech is well known to stock the highest quality seals of various brands such as Polypac, Tecnolan, Kastas. These seals are available in various profiles and types (Veepacs, X-Rings, PTFE Rings, Guide Rings, Double Acting Seals) to be used in different kinds of applications ( Rod or Piston). Almost all possible sizes are stocked for the urgent requirements of our customers. Upon request, special sizes are ordered and provided mostly within 72 hours.

Hydraulic seals and pneumatic seals include piston seals, rod seals, U-cups, vee, cup, W, piston, and flange packings. Hydraulic seals and pneumatic seals are designed for the reciprocating motion that is common in hydraulic and pneumatic applications, such as cylinders. Hydraulic seals are designed for high-pressure dynamic applications such as hydraulic cylinders. Pneumatic seals are used in pneumatic cylinders and valves and generally are designed for lower operating pressures than hydraulic seals.
